Agartala, 21st October 2026 : The mysterious deaths of three people from Tripura who had travelled to Bengaluru for work have triggered concern, with their families appealing for government assistance to bring the bodies back home.
The deceased have been identified as Sajjit Debbarma (43), Lakshmi Debbarma (22), and Parikshit Debbarma. According to sources, all three had gone to Bengaluru in search of employment, but the circumstances surrounding their deaths remain unclear.
Family members reportedly do not have the financial means to transport the bodies back to Tripura. They have appealed to the state government and the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) administration for immediate assistance in repatriating the mortal remains.
The unexplained nature of the deaths has caused anxiety among relatives and members of the local community, who are seeking clarity on what led to the tragedy. Authorities are expected to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths as further information emerges.
