Agartala, 4th June 2025: With financial support from the SMALL INDUSTRIES DEVELOPMENT BANK OF INDIA (SIDBI) under the Micro Enterprise Promotion Program (MEPP), an Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp was held in the hall room of the NB Institute for Rural Technology (NBIRT)’s branch office located at Madhyermura, Sepahijala.
Today, the camp was organized by NBIRT, located at Sekerkote popularly known by its initiative name “Arkaneer,” a true friend of rural entrepreneurs.
The chief guests of the event were – Raj Sekhar Hansda, Manager of SIDBI, Agartala branch; Banti Chakraborty, Field Officer of DIC (District Industries Centre), Sepahijala; Arkaneer’s Technical Advisor, Er. P. L. Ghosh; honorary senior executive members and staff members of the MEPP project were also present.
In his welcome address, Er. Ghosh congratulated the attending guests and highlighted the relevance of such camps.
The chief guest, Raj Sekhar Hansda, in his speech, shed light on the importance of the MEPP project in making the educated unemployed youth of the state, as well as women from self-help groups.
Special guest Banti Chakraborty emphasized various central and state government schemes in his speech and highly praised Arkaneer for taking such a timely initiative.
Thanks for the active participation of a large number of educated young men and women and SHG group women from different parts of the Sepahijala district, the camp was successful.
NBIRT’s Project Officer, Anup Dey, extended his gratitude to all urged and enthusiastic individuals, especially those inclined towards starting small businesses, to come forward.
