Newly married girl died mysteriously at Dharmanagar

Agartala: August 07. A newly married girl was found dead suspiciously in her in-law’s house at Kadamtala of Dharmanagar.

As per the report, Runa Begum the decease who as a daughter of Noor Uddin of Kalagangerpar village under Kadamtala police station, got married six months back with Intazul Rahman of Kanthaltali area of Bazarichara. But the mysterious death of the new bride within six months of marriage has raised many questions in different quarters of the area.

In this regard, the brother of deceased Runa Begum said that at seven o’clock today morning, he received a phone call from Runa’s in-laws house Runa was found lying on flood unconsciously.

On hearing the news, they quickly ran to Kanthalatali. Later Runa was brought to Kadamtala Hospital. Doctors on duty there declared Runa brought dead. The people of the deceased’s father’s house were completely devastated by this news.

Later, when the matter was reported to the Kadamtala police, the police started an investigation on, but till this news was collected, there was no report about handing over the body to the family after the post-mortem.
