NLU, Tripura conducts the fourth School-Connect Programme at Sukhomoy HS School, Usha Bazar

Agartala, 29th January 2024:   The NLU Tripura conducted its fourth School-Connect Programme at Sukhomoy H.S School Usha Bazar for the students of class 11. The programme is an initiative by the NLU Tripura with a theme of “Let us work together for the children of Tripura”.

It aims to empower students as well as foster an interest in legal education among students from schools in the northeastern states of India, particularly emphasizing benefits for the state of Tripura.

The session was led by the Vice-Chancellor of NLU Tripura, Prof. (Dr.) Yogesh Pratap Singh, wherein he discussed and highlighted the importance of fundamental rights and duties as citizens of the country, and also gave emphasis on the endless contributions made by lawyers towards society and various legal choices available to students.

The session ended with an interactive round of Q&A from the students and the speaker.

Merelin Darlong, Assistant Professor of English and Coordinator, School Connect programme, the Principal of the school Rajkumar Sutradhar and teachers participated in the event.
