Agartala, January 24, 2023: The National People’s Party (NPP) has submitted its nomination papers to Santirbazar Sub-Divisional Magistrate for the upcoming assembly elections on Tuesday.
When the leaders of various parties are busy selecting candidates for the upcoming assembly elections, the National People’s Party has nominated its own candidate to defeat the ruling party in the market for peace.
On Tuesday, the party nominated Milon Murasingh for the post of 36-Santirbazar assembly constituency and gave the nomination to Santirbazar SDM and the Returning Officer of Santirbazar assembly constituency.
After filing the nomination papers, Parikshit Debbarma said on behalf of the party that there is a plan to field candidates in Santirbazar, Jolaibari, Belonia, Hrishyamukh assembly constituencies in the southern district. Out of which nomination papers have been filed today in Santirbazar assembly constituency.
Parikshit Debbarma fought for the BJP alone for many years before the change of government in the state. He contested the assembly election and Lok Sabha polls from Santirbazar Assembly constituency alone for BJP. At present, after the formation of the BJP government in the state, he left the BJP party due to not giving him any kind of evaluation.
