NQAS Delegation Inspects Health Facilities in Sepahijala District

Agartala, 5th May 2025:  A delegation from the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) visited Microsapara Primary Health Center and Takarjala Primary Health Center in Sepahijala district to assess the quality of healthcare services being provided in accordance with the guidelines set by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The visiting team, comprising Dr. H. Patwari and Dr. Kakali Singh, carried out a detailed inspection of the infrastructure, medical services, hygiene standards, and patient care practices at both health centers. They also interacted with patients and healthcare workers to gather feedback on service delivery and challenges faced on the ground.

Dr. Bithika Das, Nodal Officer of NQAS for Sepahijala district, accompanied the delegation during the visit. Several health workers from the respective centers were also present as the team conducted its evaluation.

The visit was aimed at ensuring that the health facilities maintain consistency in service quality and adhere to national health benchmarks.
