Agartala, 2nd November 2024:   A NQAs survey was conducted on Saturday to assess the provision of medical services at the Vivekananda Palli sub-centre, now renamed Ayushman Arogya Mandir in the Satchand block of Sabroom sub-division. A central team visited the sub-centre to monitor the implementation of standards set by the Government of India.

This monitoring process involves several phases, including sub-divisional, district and state-level evaluations. Representatives from health departments across the country assess the quality of sub-health centers. Those that pass all tests receive NQAs certificates and government support to enhance health services.

Dr. Pranjal Pratim Gogoi and Dr. Viraj Chandra Pal led the central team during the observation. “We closely examined the implementation of the health-for-all slogan,” Dr. Gogoi stated.

District Medical Officers including Dr. Bitan Sengupta (DNO South Tripura), Dr. Alak Das (DPO AAM), and Dr. Soumik Hazra (DNO Asha-South District), were present. “Currently, four sub-health centers in Sabrum sub-division have received NQWAS certificates,” said Dr. Sengupta. The delegation was pleased with the sub-health centers’ treatment programs.

Local social worker Tapas Lodh praised the improving health services: “The Indian government’s health services are getting better day by day. The community is very happy with the rural sub-health center’s healthcare delivery.”

Officials emphasized their ongoing commitment to improving the rural health system. “This effort of the district health department will continue for the overall improvement of the rural health system,” affirmed the nodal officers.
