Date:

BY TC News Desk

Agartala, 1st January 2026 :  On the first day of the English New Year, January 1 the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Narsinghar High School organized a blanket distribution program for the underprivileged, homeless, and destitute people in the area.

Considering the harsh winter conditions, the program was successfully carried out with the active participation of NSS student volunteers under the supervision of the school’s teachers. This initiative has set a shining example of humanity, compassion, and social responsibility.

The primary aim of the program was not only to provide relief to those suffering from the cold but also to instill a sense of social service and empathy among the students. School authorities have announced that such welfare activities will continue in the future through the NSS unit.
