Agartala, October 31, 2022: To commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Nehru Yuva Kendra in Gomati district in collaboration with district administration, Youth Affairs and Sports department, ICA department and Udaipur Municipal Council organized ‘Run for Unity’ on Monday.
The significant event ‘Run for Unity’ had begun with a colourful procession at 7 AM from the premises of Udaipur town hall and ended with a cultural programme. MLA of Matabari assembly constituency Biplab Kumar Ghosh presided over the programme.
The programme was also attended by Sabhadipati of Gomati Zilla Parishad Swapan Adhikari, Udaipur Municipal Council’s chairperson Shital Chandra Majumder, DM Govekar Mayur Ratilal, United Nations volunteer and District Youth Officer of the Nehru Yuva Kendra in Gomati district Susmita Roy, Deputy Director of YAS department Bharati Nigam, DEO of Gomati district Laxman Das and others.
Besides all the National Youth Volunteers observed the day at Block level in collaboration with BDO office, School Education department and affiliated Youth clubs of the concerned area.
