One held for attacking fire fighter in Dharmanagar

Agartala: May 23. Tripura Police arrested one person for allegedly attacking one personnel of Fire and Emergency Services in Dharmanagar. It is known that after receiving information about the fire incident in Algapur on Sunday night, the staff of Dharmanagar Fire and Emergency Services reached the spot and brought the fire under control.

On the same night, a man named Sujit Deb who is a driver by profession launched an unprovoked attack on the fire department personnel. The injured firefighter was taken to the district hospital. A written complaint was filed with the Dharmanagar Police Station on Monday by the Dharmanagar Fire Department. Finally, on Monday night, the accused Sujit was arrested and brought to the police station. Police have started investigating the incident at Dharmanagar police station. There have been demands for strict legal action against those involved in the attack on the fire brigade personnel.
