Over 6,000 appears for JEE

Agartala, 2nd May 2024:   The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) successfully conducted this year’s Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) on Thursday, with a significant turnout of candidates participating in two distinct groups: PCB and PCM. The examination was organized across 17 centers throughout the state, ensuring wide accessibility for all applicants.

Dr. Raja Chakraborty, the Chairman of the Board, made official visits to several examination centers in Agartala to oversee the proceedings. He noted that approximately 6,000 candidates registered for the JEE this year, reflecting a robust interest in higher education among the youth.

The examination spanned 11 centers within Agartala itself, while the remaining were strategically placed in various districts, catering to the needs of students from different regions. Despite a slight delay in this year’s examination schedule, Dr. Chakraborty assured that the results are expected to be announced by the end of May, marking a swift turnaround for the assessment process.
