Overall development not possible without developing village: Deputy CM

Agartala: September 11. Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma today stated that India’s overall development is impossible without the overall development of the village.

“India’s overall development is impossible without the overall development of the village. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for sabka sath sabka vikas sabka prayas sabka biswas. In order to ensure the active participation of the villagers in the development of the village with the aim of implementing these “all efforts”, the Prime Minister said that the village day should be celebrated in every village”, he said while inaugurating Village Day held in North Brajpur village of Charilam block today.

Sepahijala district president Supriya Das Dutta, BJP Sepahijala district president Gauranga Bhowmik, BJP state committee member Kartik Jamatia, Charilam mandal president Rajkumar Debnath were present.

A total of 10 citizens of North Brajpur area were felicitated on the occasion. In his speech, Dev Varma said that wherever our workplace is, the place of birth is the main soil. “Motherland is more sacred than heaven. No matter how rich and influential we are, it is our duty to always respect the soil and work for the soil. Today, those who have grown from the soil of Brajapur and established themselves in different parts have been welcomed. Everyone should be proud of their village. This village taught us Sanskar, taught us to respect elders. India will be prosperous only if we all can develop villages together”, he said.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that once there was an obstacle in reaching the government money in villages. “Today, government projects are reaching the village directly”, he said.Today, the poor people of this village have got a solid house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
