Papia Datta praises PM Modi for empowering women at ‘Shakti Vandana’ festival

Agartala, 30th January 2024:   BJP’s state vice-president Papia Datta hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving real freedom to women in India since 1947, at the ‘Shakti Vandana’ festival held at the North District party office on Tuesday.

The event was attended by various officials, including OBC Morcha Pradesh President Malina Debnath, Dharmanagar Municipal Council Chairman Pradyut De Sarkar, North District Mahila Morcha President Rupali Adhikari, and Dharmanagar Mandal President Shyamal Nath. Women from various self-help groups also participated in the ‘Shakti Vandana’ program.

Datta said that Indian women are shining like stars all over the world and advancing in every field with the Prime Minister’s support.

She said that there are over one crore self-help groups in India, and more than 56,000 of them are in Tripura, where 5.7 lakh women are progressing in their respective domains.
