Agartala, December 10, 2022: Aiming to the assembly election in 2023, Bharatiya Janata Kisan Morcha (BJKM) state committee started one month three days long programme in order to meet the people across the state.
As part of this initiative, Kisan Morcha state president Jahar Saha on Saturday said “The public outreach programme launched by BJP throughout the state has been receiving massive response from the people. Accordingly, Kisan Morcha also started meeting houses throughout the state from December 07 last and will continue till January 10, 2023.”
“Targeting the assembly election slated to be held early next year and to ensure re-establishment of BJP-led government, Kisan Morcha karyakartas are visiting different houses and collecting information from the residents whether they have received different benefits sponsored by the central and state governments”, he added.
Saha also said “During the previous governments’ regimes in the state, people were deprived of getting their actual benefits. However, after the formation of BJP-led government in the state in 2018, people are reaping various benefits under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha. Despite COVID pandemic had incurred a loss of two years, but the present government managed to provide several benefits to the common masses.”
Participating in this public outreach programme, BJP MLA Dr Dilip Kumar Das of 4-Barjala assembly constituency told reporters that the people of his constituency expressed their satisfaction over the role of the present government.
“We are visiting houses in Barjala to know whether there are any lacunas from the end of the government in delivering the services. If any resident or his or her family is deprived of anything, we are assuring them that they will reap the benefits shortly”, he added.
