PM Modi, Home Minister Shah Assure Tripura CM of Full Support in Flood Relief Efforts

Agartala, 26th August 2024:  On Monday, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha held discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the ongoing flood crisis in the state. Both leaders expressed their unwavering support for Tripura during this challenging time.

In a message shared on X, Dr. Saha stated, “Had a detailed conversation with Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji regarding the flood situation in the state. He has assured full support to the people of Tripura during this difficult period. We are deeply thankful to the Hon’ble Prime Minister for his compassionate gesture.”

The Chief Minister also shared that Union Home Minister Amit Shah pledged continuous assistance from the central government. Shah further informed Dr. Saha that a central team would be dispatched to Tripura immediately to assess the situation and provide necessary aid.

In his post, Dr. Saha mentioned, “Spoke to Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah Ji to brief him about the devastating floods in our state. He assured us of the central government’s full support and confirmed that a team will be sent right away to evaluate the situation. We are immensely grateful for the Home Minister’s prompt response in this time of need.”
