PM Modi is fulfilling Patel’s dream of a strong India: MP Biplab Kumar Deb

Agartala, 1st November 2025:  Former Chief Minister and Lok Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 150th birth anniversary today, calling him an irreplaceable figure in India’s nation-building journey.

In a social media post, Deb stated, “India cannot be imagined without Sardar Patel,” highlighting the Iron Man’s pivotal role in integrating princely states into the Indian Union.

To commemorate the occasion, various government bodies and BJP-affiliated organizations organized the ‘Run for Unity’ across the country. Deb emphasized Patel’s legacy as India’s first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, noting that his efforts earned him the titles “Iron Man of India” and “Architect of National Integration.”

“Sardar Patel’s resolute leadership and unwavering determination enabled the peaceful integration of over 565 princely states into independent India. His courage and vision remain unmatched in our history,” Deb said.

He further remarked that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working to fulfill Patel’s dream of a strong and united India. Under Modi’s leadership, the country has made significant strides in economic, social, and infrastructural development.

Deb concluded by urging citizens to pass on Patel’s legacy to future generations, ensuring that his contributions continue to inspire national unity and progress.
