Agartala, February 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who inaugurated the Ram temple in Ayodhya on Sunday, has been flooded with letters of gratitude from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers across the country. The letters, sent by BJP office bearers, districts and Morchas, expressed their appreciation for Modi’s role in fulfilling the long-pending demand of the Hindu community.

The letter-writing campaign, initiated by the state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharya, will continue for the next few days. Bhattacharya said that BJP functionaries at all levels, starting from the panchayat level, will participate in this program. He added that the installation of the idol of Ramlala in the temple was possible only because of Modi’s leadership and vision. He hailed the historic event as a culmination of 500 years of struggle and sacrifice.
