Agartala, 27th July 2025:   Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working towards uniting the entire country and emphasizing the importance of preserving the country’s heritage.

Dr. Saha said this after listening to the 124th episode of the much-discussed ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program by the esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jirania subdivision, along with Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury.

Today, the Chief Minister listened to the Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program at booth number 58 under Majlishpur Mandal.

At this program, Dr. Saha said, “We always wait every month to know when our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program will begin. This is the Prime Minister’s 124th Mann Ki Baat program. Today, we have gathered at booth number 58 of 10 Majlishpur to listen to this program. We know that the Prime Minister is working towards uniting the entire country. He has said a lot in today’s program too — things that no one knew. We have learned a lot through him.”

The Chief Minister said that no other leader in the world connects with everyone the way Prime Minister Narendra Modi does through the Mann Ki Baat program.

“Starting from sports, he talks about everything — including space, technology, and handicrafts. He is also highlighting the history of various people. He is informing us about the entire country. He is also informing the countrymen about the country’s heritage-rich forts. He has also provided information about the obstacles faced in building forts at that time. These forts are not limited to just stone construction — they have a vast history involved in them. The Prime Minister says you should go abroad. But before going abroad, first know and understand India. There are so many heritage-rich places in our country that everyone should visit. I thank the Majlishpur Mandal for inviting me here for today’s program,” he added.
