Agartala, September 24: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program today, has urged people to actively participate in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on the upcoming Sunday in honor of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi on his birth anniversary.
Dr. Saha said this while participating in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program on Sunday at Booth No. 28 of Ward No. 29 in the 13th Pratapgarh Assembly Constituency near Agartala.
Former Assembly Speaker Rebati Mohan Das, along with other party functionaries, also took part in the event.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi consistently introduces fresh ideas to the nation in every ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program. He brings to light subjects that may not cross others’ minds. Through this program, the Prime Minister shares the most current perspectives. In today’s program, he mentioned a young German girl who has a profound affinity for India. She possesses a deep love for Indian music, language, and culture. The Prime Minister emphasized the concept of ‘one world, one future, one family’, as exemplified by this young girl in Germany. He encouraged us to progress with the belief that the entire world is united,” Dr Saha said.
The Chief Minister also noted that the Prime Minister touched upon the significance of Santiniketan and Belur Math. “In addition, he addressed various other topics and discussed Indian culture. The Prime Minister extended his warm wishes for the upcoming festival season. Furthermore, he called upon everyone to participate in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary, which falls on Sunday, October 2. He urged all to be a part of this initiative,” Dr Saha added.
