Police recovers country made gun from forest in Teliamura

Agartala: April 23. Tripura Police have recovered a country made gun from a deep forest of Brahmachara under Teliamura police station. Sources said that today morning, the police of Teliamura Police Station received information that when the locals went to collect wood in the forest, they have found a country made gun.

The police of Teliamura police station rushed to the spot after receiving the information. The police recovered the gun from there and brought it to the police station. As per preliminary interrogation police have said that the gun was brought to the forest for hunting purposes. The hunter may have dropped the gun and run away after seeing the people. The police are currently investigating the matter. However, the police have already launched an investigation to nab whoever brought the gun illegally into the forest.
