Agartala, July 20, 2023: The Debdaru police team made a significant breakthrough in combating illegal activities as they recovered approximately 15 litres of illicit country liquor in the Kowaifang market, under Baikhora police station. The unclaimed liquor was subsequently destroyed following all legal procedures. The owner of the confiscated liquor had been absconding, raising suspicion about the illegal trade.

In another positive development, the Debdaru outpost police, under the guidance of OC Bakuljoy Reang, successfully located a missing Android phone. The mobile device belonged to Lanka Tripura (26), son of Dhaniram Tripura, from Laxmi Charan Para (Abangchara) under Baikhora police station in Shantir Bazar. After receiving an appeal from the distressed owner to find his lost phone, the police used advanced detection techniques to recover the missing device, identified as a Realme-Narzo 30A.

The police authorities conducted proper verification before returning the mobile phone to its rightful owner. The prompt action and successful recovery have earned the appreciation of local villagers who lauded the philanthropic efforts of the Debdaru police officials. The community expressed gratitude for the police’s cooperative approach towards public welfare, ensuring the safety and security of the area.
