Agartala, April 26, 2023: A man was fatally assaulted by policeman and later, a case has been lodged with Belonia police station.
It is reported that the Subikananda Tripura (33), a young man was seriously injured in a fatal attack due to a family dispute. The incident took place at Chittamara Puran Bazar area under Belonia police station. The attacker Dhaniram Tripura is a policeman by profession.
It is alleged that wife Pramila Tripura was also severely beaten when she tried to save her husband from the attack. Subikananda Tripura is currently undergoing treatment at Belonia sub-divisional hospital with serious injuries.
