Agartala, 7th November 2025: Tipra Motha Party founder Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma and Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha held a significant meeting on Friday, describing their ongoing dialogue as moving in a “right and positive direction,” with a shared focus on the state’s overall development.
Addressing reporters after the meeting, Pradyot described the interaction as both “productive and cordial.”
“In the meeting, I presented my views, and the Chief Minister shared his. We are hopeful that the discussions will continue in a constructive manner for the betterment of Tripura. Many important issues were discussed, and we are moving forward positively. The talks were not about elections but about finding solutions. Discussions on the Tiprasa Accord process are progressing,” he said.
Ahead of the meeting, Pradyot had reiterated that any conversation with the Chief Minister would prioritize the welfare of Tripura’s people.
“If we meet, it is for the good of the state — to strengthen relations between tribal and non-tribal communities. Politics is not the priority; development and the rights of our people are. The meeting is in the interest of Tripura’s citizens, and our primary focus remains the state’s progress and inclusive growth,” he added.
