Agartala, 28th November 2025: Terming yesterday’s ‘One North East Unity’ gathering a historic moment, founder of the Tipra Motha Party, Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, on Friday urged party workers to intensify joining drives and meetings across the state.

During a Facebook Live session, Pradyot, the royal scion of Tripura, said that the massive rally at Agartala’s Swami Vivekananda Maidan marked a significant and historic milestone for the Tiprasa community.

“I have never seen such a huge crowd. There were even more people on the roads. Many could not attend due to road blockades. The response was massive and clearly shows that Tiprasa will no longer stay silent. This is a direct answer to those who claimed we could not hold such rallies. Attempts were made to stop the rally by preventing workers from coming, yet it succeeded. This is the victory of every tribal person and every parent who thinks about the future of the next generation,” Debbarma said.

He added that Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma also expressed astonishment, noting that he had never witnessed such a large gathering before.

“All the guests who attended said the same. I am fighting for my tribal people, and now we must move forward. I urge everyone to start massive joining programs and meetings. Tiprasa is no longer alone. I don’t want personal benefits; I want to fight for my next generation—and we will win. I thank everyone who made the rally successful, and I also thank the Tripura Police. This rally was about unity. We cannot lose because we stand together. I am for my people and will always stand with them,” he added.
