Pradyot hold meeting with Samajpati, accuses politicians for violence

Agartala: February 27. Appealing peace and tranquillity across the state, the Royal Scion and Chairman of TIPRA Motha Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma today held responsible politicians and political parties for violence.

The statement of Pradyot came during a meeting with the Samajpatis held at Manikya Enclave in Agartala.

“I am meeting all my samajpatis of our traditions and would hold talk with them. Due to election I couldn’t meet them. Not as a politician but as royal scion I have also some responsible to meet the Samajpatis to share our thoughts with each others. The Samajpatis have also many problems and also wonder some solution. So I want to take some idea from them on how in coming days we can continue our unity and can work for community and how we can give respect to Samajpatis than politicians”, said Pradyot.

He said Samajpatis look after dofa and Politician look after system and politicians may come and go but role of Samajpatis are crucial.

“Without solving problems of our village, Communities and Samajpatis, solution of Constitution is not possible”, said Debbarma.

On violence, he said, “Our Samajpatis never said to indulge in violence. Only politicians and political parties are responsible for violence. I want to urge to main peace and tranquillity after March 2 whatever the result is. We should not indulge in violence”.
