Agartala, October 20, 2022: TIPRA Motha chairman Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarman along with few retrenched 10,323 teachers met with one of top lawyers Kapil Sibal at New Delhi for helping the sacked teachers to get justice.

While speaking in social media handle on Thursday, Debbarman said “We have met with Kapil Sibal, who is one of the top lawyers in India. He agreed to fight for the 10,323 affected teachers of Tripura. I made commitment to the people about this issue and the fees of the lawyer would be borne by myself and from my own pocket. I am not spending a single penny from TTAADC fund. I want that the Tripura people get advantages.”

“And among the 10323 teachers, many of them committed suicide, and many died, I want that they get justice. Today once again, we will meet with his junior and council members and discuss regarding this issue. I hope that the case will give relief to the people of Tripura especially the terminated teachers and their families. Let these teachers support CPIM, Congress, IPFT, Motha, Trinamool or BJP, wherever you are, I have nothing to do. I took this responsibility of helping the affected 10,323 teachers, and I am doing it”, he added.

Apart from this, TIPRA Motha chairman refuted the allegations raised by Bharatiya Janata Janajati Morcha against the regional political party and TTAADC administration. He urged the Morcha leaders to study hard and know the real facts before pointing or raising fingers against any Tiprasa. The indigenous people are well aware about their needs for the survival and existence of future and especially next generations.
