Pranajit unveils DIT Project Bay, offer letters to 10 new Senior Computer Assistants

Agartala, 25th November 2025:    Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy reaffirmed the Government of Tripura’s commitment to strengthening IT services for public welfare, highlighting ongoing efforts to upgrade infrastructure and recruit qualified professionals through a transparent selection process.

Speaking at the Directorate of Information Technology (DIT), IT Bhavan, the Minister inaugurated a newly built 45-seater DIT Project Bay, aimed at enhancing the state’s digital capabilities.

“As part of our mission to modernize IT services, I am pleased to inaugurate this new facility. We are continuously working to ensure that technology serves the people effectively,” said Roy.

During the event, the Minister also handed over offer letters to 10 newly recruited Senior Computer Assistants, further bolstering the Directorate’s workforce.

Adding a humanitarian dimension to the occasion, a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized, where around 40 donors from DIT came forward to contribute. Roy lauded the initiative, calling it “a commendable act of social responsibility.”
