Agartala, 29th April 2025: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) will be conducted across the state along with the rest of the country on May 4. In light of this, West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar and the Superintendent of Police of West Tripura District carried out an inspection of several examination centers within the district earlier today.
Speaking to media personnel here, Dr. Vishal Kumar affirmed, “Preparations for the NEET examination scheduled for May 4 have been successfully completed in the state. This year, the exam will be conducted exclusively in government schools.”
The District Magistrate emphasized that the purpose of the inspection was to ensure all necessary arrangements, including security measures, are in place. “We are thoroughly checking the conditions to guarantee a smooth and secure environment for the examinees,” he added.
Dr. Kumar also provided details about the exam centers, stating, “There are a total of 11 centers in Tripura. Out of these, 10 are located in West Tripura district, and 1 is in Dhalai district.”
Authorities are taking comprehensive steps to ensure that candidates have a seamless experience during this critical examination.
