Agartala, 24th January 2025: The All Tripura Chemists and Druggists Association today organized a voluntary blood donation camp at the Agartala Press Club. MP Rajib Bhattacharjee inaugurated the camp in presence of Food minister Sushanta Chowdhury, MLA Abhishek Debroy and other dignitaries.
During his speech at the inauguration programme, MP Bhattacharjee emphasized the importance of generic medicine, highlighting efforts to make affordable medicines accessible to the economically disadvantaged sections of the country. He noted that various hospitals in Tripura have established generic medicine counters to serve this purpose. Bhattacharjee also urged the members of the Chemists and Druggists Association to extend their initiatives to reach people from all walks of life.
