Agartala, 14th May 2026: State Minister Ratan Lal Nath and the newly elected Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC), Runiel Debbarma today visited Lefunga to inspect ongoing development projects and assess future plans for the region.
During the visit, they inspected the under-construction model market and held detailed discussions on the area’s overall development. Minister Nath announced that several initiatives have been undertaken, including the establishment of an open gym, construction of an indoor sports ground, and modernization of Gamcha Cobra Market into a full-fledged modern marketplace.
Expressing optimism, Nath stated that under the leadership of CEM Runiel Debbarma, development in Lefunga and across ADC areas would gain further momentum. He assured that projects would continue in line with the needs of the people, ensuring sustained progress.
Meanwhile, CEM Debbarma praised Minister Nath’s proactive role in driving development across both ADC and non-ADC regions. He highlighted the minister’s contributions in agriculture, electricity, and other sectors, describing his efforts as vital for Tripura’s overall growth.
This joint inspection reflects a collaborative approach to governance, aiming to accelerate infrastructure and community development in Lefunga and beyond.
