Ratanlal Nath inaugurates Farmers’ Knowledge Centre at Mohanpur

Agartala, January 16, 2023: Education minister Ratanlal Nath, who is also the MLA of Mohanpur assembly constituency on Monday inaugurated Farmers’ Knowledge Centre at Mohanpur Block Complex here.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Nath said that the state government has taken various initiatives to increase the income of farmers. In the overall development of the state, the government has given utmost importance to education, health as well as development of agriculture.

In the event, the Education Minister said that importance has been given to agriculture to build a self-reliant Tripura. If the farmers are not made self-reliant then it will not be possible to build a better Tripura. Paddy is being purchased at subsidized rates in the state to increase farmers’ income. Farmers are benefiting from this.

Mohanpur Panchayat Samiti Chairman Reena Debbarma, Mohanpur Municipal Council Chairperson Anita Debnath, MC councillor Motilal Das among others were present on the occasion. Mohanpur Agriculture Supervisor Uttam Saha delivered the welcome speech. Rs 58 lakhs has been spent on the construction of the FKC.

On this day, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath also inaugurated the sub-health center at Tulabagan Chowmuhani.
