Agartala, January 20, 2023: District Magistrate of West Tripura district Debapriya Bardhan on Friday said that all steps have been taken to make the upcoming assembly elections in Tripura fair and free.
“Any citizen can inform Election Commission about any incident or crime using CVIGIL mobile app. Citizens can also use the voter helpline number 1950 toll free”, he added.
The District Magistrate said that the work of removing campaign materials of various political parties from the government property is going on. Advertisements have been published in various media to inform about CVGIL. He said that the Election Commission is taking all measures to ensure free, fair and peaceful elections.
