Agartala, 25th December 2024:  Residents of Ramnagar Road No. 2 have launched a protest against the owner of the Radiant Company flat, accusing him of cheating them over the sale of garages. The locals have also lodged a complaint with the mayor regarding the issue.

According to the incident report, the protest began when residents discovered that the owner of the Radiant Company flat at the end of Agartala Ramnagar Road No. 2 had sold the same garages to multiple people. Initially, the owner sold the garages to a few local residents for four lakh taka each. However, it later emerged that the garages had been sold to several others in the area as well.

Feeling cheated, the residents accused the owner of extorting money from them under false pretenses. In response, they put up a large poster in front of the flat, warning potential buyers to be cautious when dealing with the company.

The aggrieved residents have demanded that the money taken for the garages be returned. They have threatened to halt the sale or construction of the flat if their demands are not met. The mayor has been informed of the situation, and the residents are awaiting a resolution to their grievances.
