Agartala, June 26: A non-governmental organization named ‘Resurekshan’ home has started its journey to bring back the drug addicts of Dharmanagar city on the right track.
This NGO has been formed to guide the youth in the state and across the country who are ruining their lives by being addicted to drugs and to free those who are involved in the drug business. It’s office has been established at Chandrapur in Dharmanagar. The three councillors are trying their best to bring the addicts back from the chaotic life to a normal life.
Councillor Shilu Chakma said that various non-governmental organizations are working around the world by choosing June 26 as part of the anti-drug campaign.
It is noted that the volunteers of this organization are worried as the drug addicts are constantly in this district. A total of 50 volunteers are working with this organization. They are also trying to convince the youth by counselling or psychology in various ways against the drug dealers who are illegally expanding the drug empire and ruining the life of the youths.
The volunteers are continuing to arrange for them to give up the drug habits and return to normal life as soon as possible and make a vow for people and society.
