Agartala, 10th March 2025 : In a significant step aimed at providing legal aid to individuals unable to navigate the complexities of the justice system, retired DSP of Tripura Police Subrata Chakraborty unveiled the “Samadhan” initiative on Monday. This program is described as a non-governmental effort seeks to bridge the gap between legal procedures and the common public.
Speaking at the inauguration event held at Metro Bazaar, Chakraborty explained the motivation behind the initiative. “There are many people who face challenges in understanding legal processes or simply cannot afford legal services. ‘Samadhan’ is here to address those concerns and offer solutions,” he stated.
The advisory service will assist individuals with a variety of legal concerns, ranging from procedural guidance to investigative matters. “Our goal is to make legal assistance accessible to everyone, regardless of their socio-economic background,” Chakraborty emphasized.
Local residents have already started praising the program. Ramesh Sharma, a local expressed his gratitude: “This is a much-needed step in ensuring justice for the underprivileged. It shows real commitment to public welfare.”
The “Samadhan” office, located on the third floor of Metro Bazaar, is now open to the public and is expected to serve as a valuable resource for the people.
