Road accident leaves Biker critically injured in Brajapur

Agartala, 25th December 2023:   In a devastating incident today afternoon, a collision between a sand loading truck and a bike has left the biker, Prasenjit Das, in critical condition. The incident occurred on the road connecting Bishalgarh and Brajapur, involving a sand loading truck with the registration number TR01M1857 and a bike with the number TR017B7411.

Eyewitnesses reported that the sand loading truck was heading towards Bishalgarh, while Prasenjit Das, riding the bike, was speeding in the opposite direction towards Brajapur. The collision took place as the two vehicles met head-on, resulting in the bike going under the truck and eventually falling to the side of the road. Quick-thinking Prasenjit Das, despite being injured, managed to identify the culprits involved in the accident and promptly contacted the Bishalgarh fire department for assistance. Responding swiftly, the fire department personnel arrived at the scene, rescued Prasenjit Das, and rushed him to the Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital. Upon assessing the severity of Prasenjit Das’s injuries, the attending doctor deemed it necessary to refer him to Agartala GBP Hospital for further medical attention. Sources indicate that Prasenjit Das is currently in critical condition. Preliminary investigations suggest that the accident was a result of the bike’s high speed, leading to the unfortunate collision.
