Agartala, July 30, 2023: In the coming days, the Republican Party of India will escalate its efforts from the block level to the district level to address the various demands and rights of different communities and ethnicities.
To attract the attention of the Prime Minister and Chief Minister, the party will present memorandum of demands through the District administrations if necessary. This was announced by Satyajit Das, a member of the Central Committee of the Republican Party of India and the state president during a press conference held at Agartala Press Club on Sunday.
He further stated that the Republican Party disapproves of any unethical incidents happening within renowned organizations like the Tripura Cricket Association. The party is committed to finding solutions for such stagnant situations, keeping in mind the future of the players. To address these issues, the state committee of the party will approach the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India).
In addition to Satyajit Das, the press conference was attended by Executive President Ananta Debbarma, General Secretary Jiten Debbarma, and Youth Convener Amit Debbarma.
