Agartala, August 14, 2022: On the occasion of celebrating ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, a sit and draw competition was held at the premises of Sadar Sub-Divisional Office under the initiative of Sub-Divisional administration. More than 300 students participated in the competition in 3 categories. Union minister of state for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik visited the drawing competition and Sadar SDM Asim Saha was present.
Union minister of state Bhoumik visited the sit-and-draw competition and told reporters that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ is being celebrated across the country. She said, children are the future of our country. Spending time with children is always a joy. She also said, here children’s concentration towards art or work can be observed. If this concentration can be maintained, children can improve a lot in life.
Each person is given a certificate for participating in the sitting drawing competition by the Sadar sub-divisional administration. The first 5 in each category will be awarded tomorrow after hoisting the national flag at Sadar Sub-Divisional Office.
