Agartala, September 24. As part of ‘Samajik Adhikarita Shivir’, Union minister of state for Social Justice and Empowement, Pratima Bhoumik on Sunday distributed over four thousand appliances among 1,200 beneficiaries in Dhalai district.
Speaking on this event, Bhoumik said “As a part of Seva Pakhwada across the country on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s 74th birthday, our Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment today organized more than 35 thousand Divyang brothers and sisters in 74 locations in different states of India to facilitate the daily life of Divyang and elderly. And about 12,000 elderly people have been provided with various materials used in their daily life.”
“As part of this program, today I also distributed 4661 items worth around 80 lakhs to 1200 beneficiaries at Ambasa Town Hall in Dhalai district”, she added.
Union minister of state said “By following the mantra of “Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, our Government is committed to work for the development of people from every section of the society.”
