School monitoring drive launched in South Tripura

Date:

Agartala, 9th June 2026:  In line with the Chief Minister’s directive to raise the standard of education across Tripura, the South Tripura District Administration has rolled out an intensive, district-wide school monitoring campaign.

As part of the initiative, the District Magistrate conducted a surprise inspection at B.C. Nagar School, personally joining students on the floor to share the Mid-Day Meal. This symbolic gesture was aimed at verifying hygiene, taste, preparation standards, and nutritional quality, ensuring accountability in the system.

Simultaneously, SDMs and BDOs carried out inspections across schools in Belonia, Sabroom, and Santirbazar, enforcing uniform compliance with education and nutrition standards.

Under the Chief Minister’s vision, the administration is working on a mission footing to achieve a 100% pass percentage in all Vidyajyoti and PM SHRI schools, securing a brighter future for every student in South Tripura.
