Agartala, 20th February 2025: A school student was injured in a road accident involving an auto-rickshaw on the Melaghar to Udaipur Kamrangatuli main road. The victim is a class one student named Junayed Hossain was struck by the auto-rickshaw and sustained serious injuries.
The auto-rickshaw driver immediately rushed the injured child to Melaghar Police Station, and from there, the police took Junayed to Melaghar Hospital. After providing initial treatment, the hospital’s on-duty doctor referred him to GB Hospital in Agartala city for further care.
According to reports, Junayed’s father is Jamal Mia, a resident of Mohanbhog. As of the latest updates, both the auto-rickshaw and its driver are in custody at Melaghar Police Station.
