Agartala, 13th July 2026: The Directorate of School Education, Government of Tripura, has ordered the suspension of classes in all Government, Government-aided and Private schools in West Tripura and Sepahijala districts for today, Monday, July 13, 2026.
The decision has been taken in view of the heavy rainfall prevailing in the two districts, which is likely to continue for the next two to three hours. Authorities stated that the measure is being implemented in the interest of the safety of students.
The Education Department has directed officials to disseminate the information at all levels and ensure that the closure order is communicated promptly to all concerned institutions.
