Agartala, 22nd March 2025: A tragic road accident took place at the Agricultural Chowmuhani in Udaipur around 3 PM today, claiming the life of a scooty rider Bikash Kumar Roy after being run over by a bus.
Eyewitnesses reported that they immediately alerted the fire brigade following the incident. Firefighters rushed to the scene and transported Bikash Kumar Roy, who was critically injured to Gomati District Hospital. However, upon preliminary examination, the attending doctors declared him dead.
According to medical professionals, the fatality was caused by being crushed under the wheels of the bus. The police have been informed of the incident, and the body has been kept at the hospital for post-mortem examination. Once the autopsy is completed, the body will be handed over to the bereaved family.
