To ensure a secure environment during the session, strict protocols have been implemented regarding entry into the Legislative Assembly premises.  As per notification no person or vehicle, except human-powered rickshaws, will be allowed entry into the premises without a valid permit issued by the Secretariat of the Tripura Legislative Assembly.

Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), media representatives, and employees must present their official identity cards or valid permits at the gate for access.

“MLAs, media representatives, and Assembly Secretariat employees can enter with vehicles if accompanied by valid permits. Personal bodyguards of MLAs do not require separate permits for entry.  Visitors, government officials, media representatives, and Assembly staff are barred from carrying bags or objectionable items into the Assembly chamber.  Mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the Assembly chamber”, the order reads.

These measures aim to maintain discipline and ensure smooth functioning during the session. All stakeholders are urged to adhere to the new guidelines for a secure and orderly session.
