Self-sacrifices, bravery for country can be seen in Indians: CM

Agartala: August 17. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha today said that self-sacrifice and bravery for a country can only be seen in Indians.“Focus, discipline, and determination bring success in any endeavor. These qualities can be observed in the soldiers of our country. The youth should follow the lifestyle of these brave soldiers of the country. Only then it is possible to reach the right goal of life”, Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha said this while formally inaugurating Albert Ekka Memorial and Jagannath Bari Park in Lichubagan under Agartala Smart City today.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the Chief Minister paid tribute to the martyrs by placing wreaths at the Albert Ekka memorial. Albert then unveiled plaques at Ekka Memorial and Jagannath Bari Park.Chief Minister said that the self-sacrifice of Indian soldiers in the 1971 India-Pakistan war will be remembered forever.

“Self-sacrifice and bravery for the country can only be seen in Indians. This memorial is being built to honor the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called to observe the Har Ghar Triranga program to remember these brave children and freedom fighters of the country and also to inculcate the spirit of nationalism”, said Dr Saha.He said this program was successfully conducted in the state along with the rest of the country. The Chief Minister said that the soldiers of the country are protecting the country without caring about their lives and it is possible to make Tripura a better Tripura with everyone’s cooperation in the future.
