SFI’s 21st state conference to be held at Kailashahar on May 30-31; Logo launched

Agartala, 17th May 2025 :  The 21st state conference of the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) is set to take place on May 30 and 31 in Kailashahar. Ahead of the main event, the conference was officially launched today at the Chhatra-Yuva Bhavan here. 

At the launching ceremony, former minister Ratan Bhowmik, former MP Shankar Prasad Datta and SFI State Secretary Sandipan Deb along with others were present.

Addressing the gathering, MP Datta highlighted the challenges facing India’s education sector, stating that while developed nations provide free education, India has seen a gradual decline in budget allocations for education. He criticized the increasing privatization of educational institutions and expressed concern over the state government’s policies affecting education in Tripura.
