Agartala, 8th June 2025: Cooperative Minister Shukla Charan Noatia committed to the overall development of Jolaibari assembly constituency conducted an inspection of the extensively damaged sections of the National Highway, which had suffered severe disruption due to last year’s August floods.
Accompanied by the District Magistrate of the Southern district, Minister Noatia surveyed the dilapidated highway along with several damaged roads near Sanchirambari. Jolaibari Panchayat Samiti Chairman Tapas Datta, Jolaibari BAC Chairman Ashok Mog and other local dignitaries were also present during the inspection.
Recognizing the hardships faced by residents due to poor road conditions, Minister Noatia assured swift action. “The affected roads have created immense difficulties for the people of this constituency. Immediate steps will be taken to repair the damaged sections and expedite the restoration process,” he stated.
Local residents welcomed the Minister’s initiative and expressed their gratitude for his proactive approach. “We are relieved that the administration has taken notice of the issue. We hope the repairs will be completed soon,” said one local resident.
