Space exploration exhibition takes off in Gomati district, showcasing stellar achievements

Agartala, 4th December 2023:   In a stellar display of educational prowess, an enthralling exhibition on space exploration embarked on its six-day journey today in Gomati district. The inauguration ceremony took place at the Amarpur Chandibari ground, orchestrated under the auspices of Dakshin Amarpur Town Class XII School. The exhibition, slated to run until December 9, promises an immersive experience for attendees.

Amarpur Nagar Panchayat Chairman inaugurated the event, gracing the occasion with his presence. Over 1,500 students from 17 schools in Amarpur and Karbook sub-divisions actively participated, showcasing an array of meticulously crafted models depicting space exploration and various rockets.

Akash Pandey, the National Coordinator of Space Exploration Journey, took the initiative to elucidate the intricacies of the models to the enthusiastic students. He expressed his enthusiasm for the educational journey, stating that the exhibition is set to visit Udaipur Ramesh School tomorrow. Gomati Zilla Parishad Saha-Sabhadipati Debal Debroy, is scheduled to inaugurate the event at Udaipur Ramesh School grounds at 10 am.

Following the Udaipur leg of the exhibition, the entourage will move on to Matabari, Kakraban, and Don Bosco schools, ensuring a comprehensive coverage of the district’s educational landscape. The event promises to not only inspire curiosity about space but also foster a spirit of scientific inquiry among the young minds of Gomati district.
