Spandan social organization hosts successful health and eye camp

Agartala, 30th May 2024:    In a commendable initiative, ‘Spandan’ social organization organized a health and eye camp. The event saw the participation of five doctors from ILS Hospital and two doctors from Spandan social organization.

The camp catered to 50 elderly residents of Apna Ghar old age home, providing free health check-ups, eye examinations, blood tests, and distributing necessary medicines. In addition to the medical services, 20 medicinal plants were planted at the nursing home, promoting environmental well-being.*

Dr. Heimanti Bhattacharya, Secretary of Spandan social organization, emphasized the importance of caring for one’s mother, stating, “Only by taking care of our mothers can we ensure happiness and prosperity in our families, leading to a progressive society.”

The day concluded with the distribution of sweet fruits and religious books of Ramakrishna Sarada Maa to all residents of the ashram, adding a spiritual touch to the holistic care provided during the event.
