Agartala, 29th November 2025: Protests and demonstrations, often arising for various reasons across the state, frequently cause inconvenience to ordinary citizens. To ensure that the public does not face unnecessary hardship during such events, the police of Santirbazar have been working continuously on preventive measures.
In line with this effort, a special drill was organized on Saturday at Baikhora Police Station. The exercise was led by OC Bishnu Das, along with Second Officer SI Sujan Das and Shyamal Das.
The drill focused on strategies to effectively manage situations arising from public movements and demonstrations. Speaking to the media, OC Bishnu Das highlighted the different aspects of the exercise and emphasized the police department’s commitment to maintaining public order and minimizing disruption to daily life.
